Openlands connected Kilbourn Park Organic Greenhouse to Elite Growers who have over 1,000 1 gallon perennial plants they would like to donate to gardeners and community gardeners/public spaces. They will be deliverying the plants on Tuesday, October 13 anytime between 10 am - 10:30 am. To facilitate this we need your help!
Here are a few ways you could participate.
1. Help unload the truck when it arrives. Volunteers can come to Kilbourn Park Organic Greenhouse at 10 am to help prepare for the delivery, unload and sort the plants for distribution. Volunteers would be welcome from 10 am - Noon or later if you can.
2. Pick up plants! Do you have a space in need of a few plants. Are you working for a public garden that could plant them soon. Come and pick up some perennials for your gardens! People can pick up plants on Tuesday, October 13 from 1 pm - 5 pm.
